About Doddington Hall & Gardens

Since 2006 Doddington has been our much-loved family home. We have continued Claire’s parents work in devoting ourselves to the upkeep, repair and progression of the Doddington Estate including; the development of the Farm Shop, Bike Shop, Café, Restaurant, Coffee Shop, Home Store, Farrow & Ball, Country Clothing Store, Bauble Barn, Christmas Tree Sales and Weddings and Events businesses; increasing public access; organising concerts and exhibitions and the development of various accommodation across the estate.

There is always something new to see and do on the estate whether that is inside the Hall, in the five acres of gardens, one of our events, or on one of the estate walks.

Eating
Here at Doddington we pride ourselves on our food and hospitality. Our team of chefs produce sensational dishes using our own home-grown produce. Depending on the season we have fruit, vegetables and salad from our very own Kitchen Garden; beef from our herd of Lincoln Red Cattle; plus our own eggs; game, honey and foraged produce from the Estate. When we need something that we don’t grow ourselves we try to source it as locally and sustainably as possible.

Shopping
Our shops are open daily and stock a wide range of beautiful products inspired both by our passion for local and seasonal produce and our love of the finer things in life. Our Farm Shop team source products primarily from the area surrounding the estate and compliment them with organic and artisan products not readily available elsewhere locally.

Our new Home Store provides customers with a wide choice of unique homewares, furniture, gifts and accessories. The Farrow & Ball studio can supply you with paints, wallpapers and quality accessories. Doddington Country Clothing has an unrivalled choice of clothing, footwear, luxury body and fragrance products for life in the countryside. Our Giant Bike Shop now offers the chance to explore the Estate with cycle hire, as well as the option to pick up a fantastic Giant cycle!

Holiday cottages
Perfect for getaways, flexible stays or special occasions, our holiday cottages and individual ensuite rooms are situated within a beautiful setting on the Doddington Estate.

The Doddington Estate offers a total of 22 double or twin bedrooms in four separate unique locations all available for short stays. All cottages and rooms are individually decorated with ample parking and attractive views of the gardens.

All four cottages are self-catering with spacious and fully equipped open kitchens, dining and living room areas. Warm and welcoming throughout all seasons our cottages provide you with a welcome pack of tea, coffee, bread, milk and eggs for your stay, so you can simply just sit back and relax! Just on the doorstep you can also buy fabulous locally sourced and home grown produce from our award-winning Farm Shop. Alternatively, why not eat at our Cafe or Restaurant, open daily for breakfast and lunch.

Dogs are welcome in our pet friendly Holiday Cottage, Holly Farm.

Doddington Hall is renowned for being one of the most perfect wedding venues in Lincolnshire; romantic, beautiful and extremely flexible. We know that your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and we take great pride in our personal attention and calm professional approach to this very special occasion.

Doddington Hall is one of the most beautiful Elizabethan houses in the country. Still privately owned and lived in, it has never been sold since it was built in 1595 and it is a truly splendid venue with a uniquely exclusive and romantic atmosphere.

We have four special licensed sites: The Coach House, The Long Gallery, the Garden Pavilion & the East Porch. Each is unique; each will ensure your civil ceremony is truly memorable. Take a 360 look around The Long Gallery.
