NHS Vaccination Centre to open at the Lincolnshire Showground

Lincolnshire Showground’s newly-renovated EXO Centre is set up as a vaccination centre for the Lincolnshire area, while still offering testing.

You will be contacted by your GP when it is your turn to be vaccinated.

Working from Home – Claim tax relief for your job expenses

You may be able to claim tax relief for additional household costs if you have to work from home because of COVID. This includes things like heating, metered water bills, home contents insurance, business calls or a new broadband connection.

Businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors are to receive a one-off grant worth up to £9,000

A further £594 million is also being made available for Local Authorities and the Devolved Administrations to support other businesses not eligible for the grants, that might be affected by the restrictions. Businesses should apply to their Local Authorities.

The one-off top-ups will be granted to closed businesses as follows:

– £4,000 for businesses with a rateable value of £15,000 or under
– £6,000 for businesses with a rateable value between £15,000 and £51,000
– £9,000 for businesses with a rateable value of over £51,000

Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme and government-backed loan schemes  extended

Chancellor Rishi Sunak has extended the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (furlough scheme) for one month until the end of April 2021.

The loan schemes, including the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Schemes (CBILS) and Bounce Back Loan Scheme, have also been extended until the end of March.
